DAY 22/23 Combined

*********VIDEO UPDATE*************

Ok so I was a lazy couch potato last night and didn't post an update.  So here I have combined these together into one awesome post.  Our new video is up and we had a pretty good week of weight loss I am glad to report!  In other good news, Brian should be getting his juicer Monday (today'ish) and then I'll get to start juicing at home full time again!

If you haven't checked Brian's blog out yet, you should, it's

That's pretty much it and here goes another week of getting leaner and healthier!  Join the Reboot Revolution folks, it's seriously good stuff!

Weight: 272lbs (OFFICIAL) / 266lbs (unofficial)

Consumed: Some fruit, a salad, some more fruit, and finished off with almost enough water for the day... really trying to keep that on track. (same for both days)

Rating:  9/10 - 9/10

  1. I have a question! Do either of you consider yourself an emotional eater? Happy, sad, tired, bored? If so, how have you dealt with this?

  2. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at times. Sometimes it would take its form as a trip to the Outback for some ribs and cheese fries after a long day at work.... or even a $20 Chinese meal because I'm bored.

What gets me the hardest, I believe, is the simple power of cravings and the exceedingly easier ways there are to satisfy them. All it takes is a simple mention, an ad on the TV, a billboard, a smell, or even a random thought... And I begin to almost romanticize over the feeling of bliss I believe it will bring me... from there the craving grows until I give in and make it happen. Being out on the road for a good portion of the day doesn't help with that at all!

It's still hard, to be honest with you, and at times I can sense myself trying to rationalize excuses for breaking and hitting a burger joint... but I just say a wee prayer, think of the progress I've made, and look for alternative ways to curb the appetite and maintain focus.

Ps. The good thing is that once you beat the first week hurdle it does get better and you really start to realize your good and bad patterns. The Reboot has given me a whole new (and clear) view into my habits and weaknesses when it comes to eating.

I hope this answered your question.
